Day 14, Friday, June 21. Fresco Friday
We began our day with a wonderful breakfast made by Eleonora! Once finished we started making a fresco on the wall. First Alma broke out holes in the cement mortar and outlined the fresco area. Next we spread the mortar in the space, applied pigment making a "cartoon" and started painting. We spent about an hour completing the fresco as a group. After lunch we learned about making tempera using eggs and pigments, and working with binders. We spent the rest of the day panting, reviewing information and packing to head to Venice! Ciao!
